Ok , it drives good EXCEPT for when I come to a stop, the idle revs up to about 3000 and then slowly goes down. It does this everytime I come to a stop. Any idea of what that may be? I got a new to me TPS, and I am going to clean the mass air flow and the idle/air control.
If you know what else it may be, please steer me in the right direction.


Try cleaning all the electrical connectors on the engine, Idle Control, TPS, MAF, and etc., it is a common problem on Sportages that the connectors get dirty and cause all sorts of problems.
