Hey uh.. do the australians celebrate christmas? i mean.. it's summer down under so.. is that where the phrase 'Christmas in July' come from? curious cause I know we got a bunch of Aussies here.

We do celebrate Christmas but more often with a BBQ and/or copious amounts of seafood. Having said that we did get a dump of snow on our ski-fields down south last week. Quite bizarre weather ATM.... Where I am we've had 3 times the normal monthly rainfall with a week to go of December, fully expecting another 6-7" of rain this week, making a total of about 26" expected for the month.
