Hm, another good point - theoretically it is doing 2 bad things, tipping the top of teh fan blades into the radiator (yeah, not a lot of clearance there) and also changing the angle of air movement so it is no long straight on.
But again, 2 deg should be minimal...

However I think Roger is right, it's really just a matter of unbolting the rear mounts and lifting it up to see.
