1. Pumpkin is on the wrong side.
2. If you're modifying an axle, Dana parts are already available left-side drop.

Nothing wrong with Toy axles, though...could be cut and rewelded.

Wrong, the REAL reason is you can't get a Toyota axle for free so Mitsubishi owners don't want them.

I am actually going to swap engine and trans so the toy axle is on the right side.

What are you putting them in and what are you using as the doner?

You can bolt on a Dana 300 t case to the Mitsu auto trans and then run Toy axles, I'd run the 80 series axles though because the old pickup axles are weak and if you don't truss them they will bend. I'd also look into longfields if you go with pickup axles.

I have 1987 dodge raider and I am going to swap in a magnum v-6 with auto trans and a 208 transfercase. The toy axles I am still trying to find for a good price. I bought my raider not running. There are 2 carbs with it and there is a ton of vaccum hoses that laying every where. So i am going to swap the engine and trans. I do not know if the engine runs, so i can not justife spending the money on a weber.

Good luck people think those things are gold plated, find a flat rate junk yard and just watch for axles. If you are on a budget you'd be better off looking for a wagoneer axle, they are 6 lug and come in left or right drop + they are super inexpensive and strong.

They are good axles, for their size. But they are narrow and require a lot of work. You are limited at about 38s on them. Expect to buy gears, locker, axle shafts, high steer, big brakes, axle truss etc.
They aren't reliable with lots of weight, big engine, and a heavy foot..
