i drive truck for a living, so beleive me when i say that if a professional driver is cited for an accident regardless if the loss is of life or property... he, his company and his insurance will pay. i know that no amount of money can compensate you for your loss but i would advise you to get the best lawyer on top of what your insurance company decides to do. my saying "im sorry for your loss" seems not only inappropriate but lack luster as i could not possibly comprehend you and your fiances loss, but thoughts and prayers for you and yours. may god grant you both the serenity and peace you need to not only heal, but forgive and move on with life, love and a healthy relationship together. i too have been spared the loss of my life due to driving a montero... but now isnt the time. i cannot beleive that anybody could have walked away, much less survive yours the way i did mine.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how horrible that must be. Prayers for you and your fiancÚes recovery.
Mitsubishi built tanks in the 90's. I've had a number of friends survive wrecks where the Mitsu was no longer recognizable.

As it has been said already, I'm sorry for your loss. As a father of 2 of mine own and 3 step-children, I don't know what I would do if I lost one of my children. I almost lost my last one due to someone running the light and taking out the front of the minivan my other half was driving. I she had went as soon as the light was green, It would have been worse. Once again, My condolenses to you and your fiancee.

You were really being watched over despite the tragedy. Even in a time of loss and sadness, it's good to count your blessings. Makes you appreciate things a little more and possibly change your outlook on life. Will keep you and yours in prayer my friend.

Oh man, I just saw this thread. I am so sorry for your loss. That's got to be tough as a father myself... Kind of feel lost for words really. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Got to say though, that Monty sure held up well. 40mph by a semi into a stopped tanker? Thank god you weren't in a compact.

Terribly sorry for your loss. I'm glad to see that you and your fiance are still with us. We all grieve your loss. This is why the Montero still remains a much better alternative than the other tin-boxes that roll around us.
