i drive truck for a living, so beleive me when i say that if a professional driver is cited for an accident regardless if the loss is of life or property... he, his company and his insurance will pay. i know that no amount of money can compensate you for your loss but i would advise you to get the best lawyer on top of what your insurance company decides to do. my saying "im sorry for your loss" seems not only inappropriate but lack luster as i could not possibly comprehend you and your fiances loss, but thoughts and prayers for you and yours. may god grant you both the serenity and peace you need to not only heal, but forgive and move on with life, love and a healthy relationship together.
i too have been spared the loss of my life due to driving a montero... but now isnt the time. i cannot beleive that anybody could have walked away, much less survive yours the way i did mine.
