Well my LHD paj is still out of commish' since june, haven't taken time to replace head from my spare 4d53t from the ranger I bought a few years back, but has NEW head, cam, lifters... so excited for spring when I come out of hibernatio.

Wife's Delica is getting killed from the winter - gotta start it for her every morning, and some -20 or colder ams, she's just dead, despite oilpan warmer - maybe block heater is that much better?

The 89 Raider I bought for $250, really as a spare, and for the mint 285/65/r15 tires on it, and the glass... anyway I pulled the windshield from it and popped it into the new to me 1990 LWB Paj Exceed good as new, and the rear windsield as well, since the defrost tabs were gone on the paj, and the raiders were mint. Anyway - chopped the raider top to pickup, brought forward the rear end, except the tailgate, spray foamed all open panels to keep shape a bit, and got some angle iron rounded 90 degree to cap the sides of the box. The piece of roof removed [the extra/scrap] will make up from the rear windsield to the floor, but just out of praticality, the old pajero [read SMASHED but in one pice still] glass is spray foamed in place, just to winterize the dash until spring has my do a new windshield in the raider. [pics to follow soon!!! this is super redneck IMHO. Anyway, the raider, is now a pickup, and working on breather cap snorkel, stealth exhaust headers, chopped to custom, hopefully clears whats under hood, or I can relocate stuff, and there was already a 4" suspension lift, very clean lift really, just a rustbucket body. 33" tsl's going on it with toyota rims, and 3.0 V6 engine needs some timing done, but all in all, will be the dedicated camp rig, and a real ugly spray can paint job will follow. I have 5 rigs, and cannot take them all seriously! lol

the 1990 paj exceed is getting all new calipers for the rear next week - did a rebuild, but figured to get new calipers, since I already did new pads and rotors all around... ranger 195F thermostat is kicking out the heat real nice, and finally figured out a bypass for the daytime runners, that came back to F me a couple times since last time I posted - cut the black wire on the steering column harness, and installed a HD interruptor switch, real classic looking, into the TPMS sensor pop-in from the LHD german paj I have, so dash looks real stock. So now, I need to flip the switch for headlights and wiper stuff... but it works well.

Whew! Next is figuring out why the wife's deli rpms are jumping all over the place. Just put in new scissor-switch and shift indicator switch, so all I was hoping, would be good. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
