2011 marks the 70th anniversary of the Jeep« brand. First produced in 1941, Jeep vehicles have been the authentic benchmark for off-road capability, having mastered more terrain, led more adventures and provided drivers more freedom than any other vehicle before or since.

Jeep is celebrating this momentous milestone with the addition of the Limited 70th Anniversary Edition models. HereÆs a quick run-down of what you can expect from us by this spring, model by model.

Need a Spot
I'm wondering why they remove the the six-speed manual transmission in Liberty. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> How about the other who like to drive with manual transmission.

Well, I see that as providing an opportunity for the aftermarket segment that is geared to allow people to customize their 4x4 to meet their desires.

I hear you on the manual transmission issue. I have owned both and currently have one of each. I love my NV4500 and Atlas T-case set-up for many situations.

Every once in a while, I encounter a need for an auto tranny...
