Syntax? So that's why I hate searching, been doing it wrong this whole time. I bet you can go lower then $1700, edmunds.com (TMV) had it around $1250 if I remember right when I was negotiating, but my bank said it's worth $3200. I am moving down to San Antonio in a couples weeks and once I get another ride I am digging into the engine and doing all the fun things we love to do. Do I need to know anything more about dealing with the DMV in TX? I don't know much about smog stuff but did live in Cali for a couple of years with no problem, on base of course and will be on base in TX. Basically if you can get it for around $2000 I think it's a good deal being it's from TX and not MN like mine. And I ask why not go with 12.5 wide tires?

Are you importing your vehicle to Texastan? Texastan is getting to be about as bad (read "dumb") as Calistan. You'll have to pay a bunch of importation fees ($90 + $50ish for inspection) and have it inspected before the DMV will allow it to be imported. If you are lucky to not be in a sniffing county you will be fine, inspections are cheaper.

As far as the tire size. I'm not opposed to the 12.5" wide. Could you post a few photos of your truck? I'm hoping to not have to buy new wheels. I did see Dylan's truck with 33 12.50 on the stock rims and like the stance of it. Looks proper.

I like the idea of the 12.50 because it should make the truck more stable (one of my few concerns about monteros).
