I remember seeing a couple of two tone paint jobs, but never a woody.
Not responsible for advice not taken...

I used to have an 88 grand wagoneer - it was awesome to look at and fun to drive. I love my monty and overall it's better built and better designed than the GW, but I always miss that old jeep (except when I think about gas prices and the 11 mpg it got with that carbureted 360 cu. in. AMC V8).
I don't think any monteros came from the factory with woody decals on the outside, but they sure as heck should have.

Got my license taking the test in my dads 78 oldsmobile custom cruiser wagon with the wood panel decals on the sides and steering wheel.
Thing had a 403ci with a 4 barrel carb that sucked down gas especially once you floored it. Also took my 1st prom date in that car, but that's a whole nother story.

So, uh, Ray...your prom date gave you a 'woody package'?
I don't understand how with all the vehicles my dad and I have had, there have been no woody-type cars. My folks wouldn't let me get the 84 Grand Wagoneer I looked at for my first car...said it used too much gas. So, I had a 454 LS5 low hood Chevelle instead. Prom car was a Ford Fairmont wagon, unsexy...Inga was another matter though!
