then weld these gears like this (this is a chevy gear)

reassemble, fill with fluid, now you've got locker?

ive also seen where they just take all these gears and weld them to the housing :

which method would be correct? or stronger? im thinking welding them all to the housing would be pretty much the same thing, and be a lot stronger.
