Well, its the end of an era for me, I guess: Sold the T100.

First/only new vehicle I ever bought, right out of college. 14 years and 280,711 miles later, it still runs strong and has been a GREAT truck the whole time.

Now somebody's kid is getting an awesome surprise 16th birthday present. I bet he'll be stoked.

A short history in pics...
And of course, more of my old T100 stuff here: http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/t100/

What did you git to replace it? Or are you still running with the 4Runner?

Bought an 06 F350 crew cab last April to put a camper on and tow the 4runner with for long trips. Still need to find something better for commuting in though.

Well, I at least hope you told the kid's dad about the forums and how to maintain the truck!
Glad you are still in the yota family though with the 4runners!

x2; hope you told Dad where junior can find his online support. I think I'd consider flying down there to bring it back here; I forgot how nice that thing is.

Booooo! So sad to see forum members lose their Ts.

On a related note, you don't still have the original alloys and want to sell them cheap, do you?

Wheels are long gone...

I do have the 2" body lift with custom 2/1" drivetrain lift and modified bumper brackets and instructions still if anybody is interested. Still have an unused air filter too.

Hate to see you get rid of it, but the time had come for you. Put the items up in the 4-sale board, someone might want them. What happened to the suspension lift you made? Didn't you post that the guy wanting the truck, wanted it at stock height? I am sure someone her on the board would have snapped that up in a heartbeat! I am gonna miss that truck of yours, it was one like I always wanted, but never had time or money (wives and kids will do that to you) to put into mine!

Body Damage is Cool
So tempting. I think my body mounts have to be shot, and it would only make sense....
I just rolled 200k and will probably be gunning for the next 100k out of it, but I'm starting to think a new daily driver is in order and maybe some smaller toys.

Thanks for all your knowledge over the years, Erik. I hope the runner keeps serving you for a lonnnng time.

I left the suspension. It would have been a PITA to put stock springs back on the rear since I cut the mounts off.

I think I have the original body mounts too, Adam. Swapped them for poly when it was 2-3 years old (waste of money), so they should be in pretty good shape.
