I know that feeling - replacing an axle seal in my daughter's Infiniti G20t became an exercise in frustration when it became apparent that every auto parts catalog in the industry had apparently taken their incorrect information from the same source. It's even more frustrating when you're holding the seal that came out of the vehicle in one hand and the seal from the parts store in the other hand, they're not even close to being the same, and all the parts guy can do is say "well, my computer says it will fit"
