Getting the Wheeling Fever

Who has installed a http://www.golight.com/products/stryker.html, or comparable, to the roof of their vehicles? How did you wire it IF you didn't drill through the roof? I'm paranoid about drilling through the roof. So, I have made a magnetic base for it. I'm just at a loss for ideas of what's the best, most inconspicuous way to wire from the outside in.
