The montero/raider/pajero was built as either a rhd or lhd vehicle depending on the market it was sold in. The wiper motor and plate will fit eiter side, and I think you flip the armature over for the various markets. You can see the other stamps for the rhd windshield wiper arms stamped on the cowl but bnot drilled out. Anyway, there is a service place on the fire wall on the pass side, and the motor is on the drivers side. On the 3.0 V6 raider, i had to pull back the sound insulation on the firewall to expose the plate. On the older 4cyl montys there is no sound stuff, so the plates are visible. Its actually pretty easy project. Go to harbor freight/tools and invest in the metrics. I got half my stuff done with standard, went and got the right tools, and quit stripping all the darn nuts.
