Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread Has anyone replaced their valve cover gaskets? #1020452 02/12/11 05:58 AM Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 35 South central Illinois W Winkel1 OP Getting the Wheeling Fever Guys, I'm about to roll over 200K miles and the truck still runs great. It's just leaking a little oil out the valve covers. Has anyone here replaced the gaskets? How tough was it? Anything special to watch out for? I've already done the timing belt and water pump twice so I'm pretty familiar with this engine. I'll probably have this beast a couple more years.
