Duly noted. Wondered about that some. Is there any chance the gauge was interfering with the action of the fpr? Could you identify the various hoses on the fpr? I count 3? In the photo, Rside, Lside, and bottom...

Have you demo'ed the gauge yer to investigate failure mode?
