It's not bad Eddy. I've got the LH version of this holster.

With my other sidearm I've been doing the draw with my left hand and popping the strap at the same time with my right; it's a squeeze clip, and I can work it with gloves on. Haven't done it with a rain jacket on yet. This is also a more centered carry, esp if a larger firearm; comfy. I also prefer an African carry with a shotgun, but am too short; he's got a nice little shotgun setup for a back rig that I'm considering.

It's going to cost some $$ to convert my Para to a LH firearm, so I'm faced with either selling it or giving RH a try. It's a good fit otherwise. There's a lot of thought put into this rig. I think he sells them in camo too.

I will say that if in bear country and I can't see more than 30 ft around me, or if hiking along a stream where you're not quite loud enough for an animal to hear you, I've got the firearm dujour in condition one and/or unlooped.

I practice offhand, because you're not always going to be able to get into a shooting stance; not enough time. If out just plinking, then I can get a little more refined and work on my distance shooting.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
