So I got the tranny out and did some cleaning. Haven't gotten my parts yet....Wanted to see what your opinions are on replacement kits. Checkers had some brand I never heard of, but the price seemed right. The disc rivet dug into the flywheel so gotta do a re-grind.
So I noticed this oil leak a while ago. I found it was from the transfer case rear extension housing. There are two seals, 1 inner and 1 outer. I replaced these two no to long ago. I recently realized the leak is back. So I baffled. I attached a copy of the repair manual.....


So it seems the leak is coming from the rear output shaft and companion flange. When I removed my drive shaft, there was oil in flange? Should it be there? Am I missing a seal or o-ring?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Oh, does any know where to get new bearing fork boot, shifter boot and transfer shifter boot? Unfortunately, they all crumbled when I touched it. Thanks.
