I while ago I got my sportage and was going up this grade at about 50 mph, now I am lucky if I can go up that same grade at 40mph. I have already out new plugs, oil and filter, new TPS, New MAF sensor. Is there anything else I can do to restore my power at all?
I am going to be putting in a new clutch next week beings I am having to double clutch mine right now.
Will the can of "restore" help out at all? Right now it takes me about 1 1/2 miles to get up to 60 mph.

Justa Guess, Other Sporty owners that have had issues with power loss have attributed it to a clogged catalytic converter.

You talk about power and clutch in the same post makes me ask.. is the power loss because your clutch is slipping?? if so, there's nothing you can add to your engine oil to assist a slipping clutch. I know most of you are laughing at this, but I start with simple and work my way into complicated. can't go straight into complicated cause skipping the simple makes the complicated even more complicated. lol. so anyway power loss. check engine light? yea? check it!! no? hmm.. these aren't very powerful (135hp crank aprox) to begin with.. plugs, wires, oil change, clean air filter? check make sure you don't have a rat nest in your air assembly. it happens!! There are ways to check for clogged cat. general methods you can google up. I gutted the 2nd Cat in my rig long time ago. I have an '01 so I have the exhaust that has two cats. the 2nd cat can be gutted without interfering with the computer. just as long as there is no 02 sensor after the Cat you gut, then the ECU has no way of knowing. HERE'S A THOUGHT!! Power loss can occur without a CEL (check engine light) if your timing belt has jumped a tooth or if your crank timing sprocket has broke the keyway and shifted out of time a little. I seen this personally on someone's sportage. Someone had done the timing belt on their rig before they bought it and they didn't tighten the crank sprocket enough and it worked loose but just a little at first over the course of 2 months! She lost power and it had trouble getting up to hwy speed on flat ground. Then one day it let loose and the crank pulley pretty much fell off and the engine died. I think you can pull the timing belt cover off and get a peek at the timing marks on the intake and exhaust cam gears. there's a mark on each (I and E). the crank pulley has a mark on it too.. the cam gears should be at 12 o clock while the crank mark should be within the marks.. you'll see what i mean. will need a flashlight, and a 10mm socket/ratchet (preferably a 1/4" drive). To turn the crank pulley over you'll need a larger socket.. I think it's a 22mm. But it will have to be a 12 point since the bolt on the crank is also 12point. Can't use a 6pt. the crank bolt is a 22mm I believe. maybe 24mm. ok i've said enough.. lol.

My CEL has a code that says my IAC needs replaced, The clutch is not slipping, I adjusted the pedal so that I could drive it but I dont think there is much more to adjust. It almost seems like it is losing fluid, I pump the clutch a few times and then I can change gears, but if I have to stop fairly quickly and push in the clutch, there is nothing there. I have to pump it up.

BEFORE you replace anything take some contact spray and hit the IAC plug
take it on and off many many times to clean the pins
recet the ECU by removing the ecu fyse in the fusebox for about a minute
test it Have in mind that after reseting the ECU it may have a little higher revs than usual for a few seconds That is normal let it heat up at idle it sould me smouth an after it heatsup some, the revs should drop to the normal idle.
Tell me if that procedure cures the problem so that I can tell you more

Check the clutch fluid, it's part of the brake fluid reservoir. If it's low there a hose that rubs on the frame and eventually wears through. It's dealer only if you have to replace it, trust me, I looked all over the place to find a replacement because it had to be ordered. I did manage to cobble something together to get me going but I wouldn't have trusted that for any length of time. Low fluid wouldn't cause any slipping though, the clutch would just be engaged all the time.
I have had the lack of power problem and ended up cleaning out both catalytic converters, at way separate times though. We don't have any vehicle checks in Michigan so it's no big deal here.

A lot less time than it takes to get it off the car. Just take a wooden dowel or something similar and push it or pound it through the cat. Or a large drill bit or anything else to remove the converter honeycomb inside. You don't have to get it all, just a decent sized opening about the same size as the connector pipes.

I just went out and looked at my cat, It looks like the header pipe and the cat are all one piece. There are 2 bolts on the rear end of the cat that can be removed. If I take these 2 bolts out will the cat come away from the header pipe? There are no bolts on the front of the cat that I can see.
