That looks like mine, it's the rear one, which plugged up first on my Sporty. Just ram something through the cat part and the honeycomb will break apart. Don't forget to use anti-seize when you put it back together.

Thanks, I see that I another cat, the front one. Do I do the same with that one or will it make my O2 sensors go bad?

Ok, I cant break the foward bolts loose, They must not have used antisieze on them..
So can I just take it apart from the back leaving the cat in place and gut it out from the rear? Run a vacuum in there and suck up all the broken pieces?

Or just start it up and blow everything out that way. If you gut the front one it will cause the o2 sensor to go off, but if that one is plugged you either replace it or gut it. I'd do the rear one first and see if that helps. If not, then do the front one.

I took out the fuel filter and tried to blow thru it, it wasnt easy but I was able to. I changed it anyway. Maybe that will help a bit.

you might try cleaning your MAF sensor as well...mine was acting up last year, i tried the cat(which had prev been gutted by previuos owner, also mine wasnt honecomb but a cloth-like material) and tps first with no change then cleaned the MAF and it ran perfect again...i also did not have a CEL on

I have cleaned the MAF and the IAC a couple of times now. It seems when in neutral it revs up just fine but when driving and you step on it, it boggs down and slowly gains speed.
