Need a Spot
Mitsubishi has a current body style Montero Sport at their headquarters in Cypress CA and is studying the possibility of bringing it back to North America. They're using Focus Groups which may or might not be helpful. The current Montero Sport has a third row seat can tow over 6600 pounds and is very competent off road. Please contact Mitsubishi and let them know they need to bring this car back to the US. You can contact them at:

Website doesn't work for me in the office and because it's a flash site, won't work from my iPad/iPod Touch (stupid Apple). I'll check it from home.

Yeah, same here. someone post a pic up. And why would they consider the Sport? The already had the Endeavor which is almost identical in size & the smaller outlander too. Bring the Full size Montero back with vengeance & a turbo diesel option.

Ive been told by a friend that works at the PDC warehouse here in Atlanta that Mitsu is going to a single line worldwide, as in dropping the Montero and going Outlander and Outlander Sport worldwide. I really dont like the look of the new Mitsus at all with the big low grill. I dont think we will ever have a truck or SUV from any manufacturer that will compare to the old ones.

For clarification, I believe (& please correct me if I'm wrong) that this is the 2 door full sized Pajero/Montero/Shogun, not the Pajero/Montero Sport.

What's with all the goofy looking wheels?

The Paj would only work in america again would be if it was a 25-30mpg diesel, otherwise they are just wasting their money trying to bring it back. If they brought the gas guzzler V6 nobody will buy them and those of us who actually would buy would likely be waiting until they are used and cheap.

The other thing is that they still make the blister fender gen 2 and if they brought that back with the 4M40 they could sell it in the low 20ks (old tech and already proven) like they do in smaller countries. Most any 4wd fan would buy them up just for the fact that it is a rugged fuel efficient capable machine. I know i'd be at the dealer tomorrow if they put them on the lot.

I hope they read this, SAVE the SUV and bring us a diesel truck line!
