Getting the Wheeling Fever

I have an 86 cj7 with a 4.2 six. I have a random sound( sounds like a relay click) from around the ECM behind the glovebox.; As soon as it clicks the engine stops momentarily, then starts again. It is getting worse. Is it the ECM or a wiring issue?
