Didn't you win a Mercedes a few years ago? What did you end up doing with that?

EDIT: 2000th post! Woot!

>>>*It's a ten time Gold machine so 100 times $90.00 or $9000.00.

Yep, Scott, a 2004 Mercedes but I took the cash since I had no place to put it and we already had a car. That Mercedes was $42K. Then 30 minutes later I hit a ten times pay machine for 10K. *That was a pretty good Reno trip...*LOL**..

Basically just lucky but it's been going on for years.
We like to go every 5-6 months just to get away from everything for a few hours...*EB

>>>*Yes. Without fail, guaranteed. All one need to do is look around, what paid for the fancy building, lights, all the wonderful decor, the limosines.

Down in Reno they gave Le' and I rooms so large our house would fit inside it, free meals of anything we wanted, a massage therapist to come to our room and rub our sore backs so we would feel better and more like going down and playing some more.

Heck, we even got free drinks and free $8 jars of Cashews out of the robo bar, one night I called room service at 3 in the morning for Orange juice and it was there in 5 minutes.

Big basket of fruit and a $250 bottle of wine sitting on the fully stocked wet bar in the room, that bar seats 14.

A glass enclosed shower in the bedroom that had room for at least 8 people, (no idea what that was for...*giggle).

5 TV sets, a living room? There was even a drinking fountain right there in the bathroom!...*LOL**

Now WHY would they do THAT?

*They wanted their money back.

Le' and I got LUCKY and nailed them for about $60 grand one trip in Reno. They pulled my name out of a big bin that had at least a million other tickets in it.

We went back several times, each time losing some until I added it up and we were barely ahead of them. We even hit little jackpots right along that got us close to even but never really gained anything more.

Three years now, we haven't been back to Reno.

*That was FUN! We got to be high rollers for a couple of years. Not very many people like us get to do that. Now we are little rollers again and that's OK.

That nice $9K pop will mean we get to go play using THEIR money for the next couple of years. We always set a time limit and dollar amount, then we go home without fail.

The rest of the time we don't play at all.

You are correct, it is impossible to win over any kind of long haul unless maybe you pop one of those multi-million dollars ones. That happens but for me, winning a new Mercedes Benz was huge! Then hitting one in an Indian Casino for $9 grand?

I really do think doing that was even longer odds, to be honest.

Just lucky, but it happens. If a person can afford to lose a few dollars, why not, it's fun. If you can't, then just don't go....*EB
