(low compression will require longer cranking) checked the air filter? looked at the exhaust coming out? Try the easy things first. 97 sportage, mostly stock apart from king springs front and rear, monroe shocks, k&n filter, pioneer mp3 cd, rampage 2x 10"subs and rampage amp.
