I haven't found a PTO capstan winch I like yet. The one PTO winch I found is very heavy - 160 lbs without cable. I called Boston Gear for a worm gear set. They cost about $500. Still looking!
I am having problems with my interweb interface. I keep getting locked out of the 4x4wire forums, and I can't seem to upload a picture of the PTO.
'89 Raider Diesel, ARB front, '96 Montero SR disk/locker rear axle & front brakes, 2.5" ss exhaust.

I was thinking to keep the PTO and do a capstan winch. I built my exhaust to clear the PTO drive shaft. The PTO winch setup seem to be on some of the international forums. I imagine you could find one with some digging.
I called Soshin engines (where I got my engine, 800 543-2476) to see if they would find and import a winch setup, but the guy I talked to said they just do engines. There was a slight language barrier.
I have an extra V6 auto trans and T/C free for the shipping though!
