Do you have your upper balljoint connected?

Yes all the connections to the knuckle are made...until I take them apart in a few moments. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Job done! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I did indeed have this ring backwards. The way it is tapered made the difference. Once it was installed correctly the snap ring was a piece of cake.

Thanks for all the help. I hope this helps someone!

Body Damage is Cool
That brass ring makes a huge difference on which side is out. it is good you got the c clip on. I did forget one thing. I put a little bit of grease in the groove to help it to slide on.
