See that alot on cars out here. Rez cars are subjected to lot's of sun here. If they keep up on waxing, goodbye clear coat. My chevy has the same problem (90's chevy's clear coat all suck). Just gotta keep up on the waxing. You could keep a cheap paint job from Maaco, But if your going to keep it I wouldn't skimp on the paint job.
If the shop knows what they are doing, you can get flake put in the base and clear coat. Gives a different kind of effect.
