Howdy Folks at the last Moabzuzu that I attended there was a 1st Gen Trooper that had a 2nd gen 3.2l in it. Does anybody remember who that was?

Roll Me Over
Something in my old, decrepit memory is that it was Chad who had the 2nd gen engine in a 1st gen body.

Here's a very old posting from Chad that I saved, regarding his swap:

I have a '94 3.2 in my '87 trooper. I used the '94 tranny as well. The crossmember
is in the same place on both trucks. I cut off the rodeo's motor mounts and welded
them in my trooper. The motor fits great and it looks factory. The only trouble is
that the e-brake won't work with the v6, I'm still working on that one. If you can
find a good donor vehicle I think that this swap is a good option

A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then! The jalopy still lives in a state of hibernation. It now wears a first gen amigo body, still on the '87 frame. Same 3.2, dual isuzu t-case and front and rear d44 axles with leaf springs.
I have been thinking about brushing off the cobwebs and see if the old girl will wake back up.

1987 trooper LS.'94 3.2, SAS,35's , lots of dents and rust. Now, improved, with more dents.
1995 trooper LS. Wife won't let me improve this one.
1996 trooper. I'll need something to modify when the '87 finally rusts away.
