I kind of feel the same way about the goodyears, $90 and i don't have to care if one gets trashed or burned out driving home with a bent idler, then at the same time a tire failure or 2 could ruin a wheeling trip. With the tires i have now i don't worry about sharp rocks or anything jabbing into my sidewalls just makes for better traction, I haven't even been bringing a spare lately. I guess it's a trade, $90 tires i don't care about that might fail on the trail or $300+ tires that i won't likely have a problem with offroad but if i burn one or two up driving home with haggard steering I'm hurting.
