Thanks Justice, I will get those ordered! The problem with the t/case is because of such large tires, it is unlikely I could even wheel Utah without stalling. Even if I went 35s it would be touchy, but 37s.....

Are you looking for any np 231 with 2.72 gears? Or are you looking for a specific model? There is one near me I can pick up for $150. It needs shift fork pads and sealed up.

let me know.

Lloyd needs a heavier duty case with 4:1, i think something like 16 NP231's just exploded just at the mention of Lloyd running one in his truck.

If you get a hold of a t-case, you can ship it to my shop. Sometimes shipping is cheaper to a business vs. a residence. Let me know.

Thanks Jay. I am looking for a NV241 4:1 ratio. Otherwise I would not replace the heavy duty Montero t/case. The reason for the swap is Ozzie gears are only 3:15, and with 37s I think 4:1 will work better, for about the same cost. The key to sorting out whether it is the right t/case sometimes is the lingo. Its a Rock Trac transfer case I need.
