Body Damage is Cool
I'm a slacker and a mexicant, sorry ive been a tayj lately. I'm back on track (I think). Alot has happend lately and not any of it has really been good. But all is ok for now, maybe I can put my truck back together now and go pick up the motor from erics to start digging into it. I am thinking it should really only take a week to do everything as long as i have everything and its up on a stand, but I'll know more as I start it.

Kevin, you're going to need the oil pan and some other bits off the crap engine. Once you get the engine done i'd like my stand back, i think i might rebuild Lloyds block for stock and the heads will make good cores.

If you need another engine stand, I have one.

I think Pat may have not been able to make it, there's still a t-case under the Monty & none of the goodies I left out were touched.

Hopefully everything's OK, I'm sure he'll get it at some point.

It's almost a relief that my skills are not needed at this point in the project. Wait...I have skills that were needed and/or utilized? Don't answer that, please.

It's supposed to be a whopping 117 on Saturday here. Then the weather folks say our monsoon season (the "season of suffering") begins starting a bit early this year with rain possible from Sunday onwards. Of course, it won't actually rain until they say there's no chance of it raining, then it'll pour.

Kevin: Pick up engine!

Toasty: Weld things on.

Me: Well, I CAN spray paint things that Toasty welds on. Maybe that's my 'special purpose.'

WrenchWench: Tolerate our intrusions, please. Feel free to pressure wash everything the hose can reach. Use the engine hoist to lift sections of the sidewalk up or to put your neighbor's cars on really tall jack stands. And keep drawing. Bob would want it that way. You know, Bob. The one on your wall in your living room.

Again, let me know if you want me to bring over the motorcycle lift and/or the engine stand.

The heat is fricken rediculous, like 90-98 every day here. Everythings on fire... Wife decided we have to head up to Silverton for the 4th and cool off. We have not been out of the house in a long time. Sooo, I wont be around. I hate to relax while other might be wrenching on my rig....But thanks to everyone for plugging away, I know we have a short time frame now.
