Lloyd, The bolts for your flexplate and torque converter are ordered (the flexplate bolts are in actually just waiting on the converter bolts) and today i'm getting the steel for the bumper top plates (i sent you a picture text of the template). I won't have enough money for the bumper hoops but we can worry about that later because i need to have a shop bend them up for me because i don't have a bender. I'll need some measurements for your winch though so i don't put the gussets in the way of the bolt holes. I'm still working on the front frame chop in my head and where is the best location for everything for maximum approach and strength. Because of the body lift i'm worried about the leverage the winch will have over the frame but i'll play with a few different ideas before i do any real cutting.

Hey, Lloyd. Just out of curiosity I was going to check out the winch. Not sure if it's just me, but the link times out, even trying to use the home page.

Kevin should also be calling you, i guess the valve stem seals we had are a mystery seal and only 8 anyways (must be for 2.6). So you two can go over parts needed like gaskets and whatever.
I'll get as far as i can with what i've got and let you know what we need for steel. i haven't been out to look for 4.90's and hubs for a couple weeks so once i locate something i'll give you a call.

The web page comes up fine. Its likely you missed one of the 4 PDF updates/ day in the last few weeks Otherwise it could be IE9 which seems to be updating automatically and causing a lot of trouble, like 8 did.

Just have Kevin call me and I will figure out a way to get him a few dollars.

Remember that it will be mounted higher on your truck Lloyd with the frame mod, This is my first attempt at a winch mount tube bumper so if there is anything you don't like let me know, nothing is permanent yet. I have some trimming and a center plate to make still. [Linked Image] [Linked Image] [Linked Image]

You know that does not look half bad. I like those flat side plates, since I am such a chicken and love people getting on my truck when I get tippy Very practical appearing, and a strong gusset for the ends.

A short return toward the tire to protect the fender corners would be a nice add.

Yeah, I?d like it to wrap around as well, i think it?ll look way cleaner. As for the top mount winch I'm still on the fence about that with the amount of lift we're going to have on the frame. I'll call and talk it over with you later today.

I made the side templates, What do you think? I mounted the bumper to my truck without fender flares today, It'll look more correct on a truck with fender flares.

I think we may need to tow Lloyds truck to my house soon, a lot of the work left is on this side of town now. POOP
