Also, others have stated that the o-rings for the water pipe are impossible to find aftermarket.
Are they just O-rings? As in, little circle of round-profile rubber in specific dimensions? 'Cause, in a previous life I had a lot of one-off fluid handling equipment to work with and was always able to find any O-ring I wanted at King Bearing (they are now known as Applied Industrial Supply ) - should be able to walk into one of their retail establishments with an old o-ring or any of the parts it fits, play the ol I'm just a hayseed who'll be outta your hair sooner if you help me out than if you don't character... Unless it's not just a regular O-ring...

Thanks JB! Deadline pressure I'm used to. That's an everyday thing for me. The pressure not to F someone's engine up? That's a different story. But I'm glad I'm able to lend a hand regardless.
Electrical is pretty much my deal. Ask PA-JERO about my hand drawn wiring diagram for the harness I built for my bike. Engines not so much, but it can't hurt to get a hold of Pat to get a second set of eyes on it. I have a theory of what may be wrong with mine after looking at Lloyd's engine. Just waiting for some opinions. See my latest post in the tech section.

Well the parts are on the way to my house, so I will have to double ship. I no longer have a stealer relationsip here, and am not sure the Jeep Dealer is much interested in selling Mitsu 4x4 parts(you have to use the Jeep counter now) Amazing how expensive though, 260.00 just for seals. That is the bad thing about Japanese engines... Hopefully they dont take forever.

I haven't received shipping confirmation on the valve compressor tool yet, so it looks like I won't have it until next week. Hopefully everything will converge on us at the same time and we can get to it. I'm pretty sure between PAJ and I, we can get this done in a couple of nights worth of work.

Never knew that tool was specific to the engine, guess I didn't do enough reading. All well, I would have rented the tool if I needed to. I was more worried about figuring out what we needed to get this thing re sealed and in good operating shape. Plus I knew lloyd would have to order some parts. And as for me not being informative, I would have to say I've been pretty **** informative about whats going on with lloyds engine. I even posted pictures, And that never happens.
And as for the 3.5 in my truck, I kept saying, I'm gonna have to live with it smoking for a little while cause I at the time couldn't afford valve stem seals nor did I even know if the swap was gonna work out. The swap worked, I'm doing lloyds engine, then mine is next in line.
BTW, thanks Jinstv for all the help, it is appreciated.

Within a day you guys had 3 new pages on here. I had bowling last night. I spoke with lloyd briefly just before I had to start about some parts, Thanks to everyone for getting lloyd some help on getting those parts he needs.
Lloyd, Ill give you a call back at some point today since by the time I got done last night it was 10 o'clock my time, way to late to call you.

Sounds good, I think we got you down to just Oil Pan Gasket. Dont worry Pajero, its just that some of us have no life Uh, like me, being un-employed... Hopefully we can roll on some other mods before too long while we wait on engine parts. I know the money feeling, and I am definately running short now. Should be just down to front diff, hubs and a rear R&P set though....
