Might want to look into Hammerite Rust Cap. A very hard, durable paint available in aerosol, and you can paint over rust. A bit more expensive than regular Krylon, but more durable. Available in a bunch of colors too. It's what I'm going to be using once I get around to getting sliders and bumpers done.
