Wow, good progress for a week day! We dug around a lot today but did not find the title, damn. Just not sure what happened. There is a process to fix that, but it will be like 250.00. Just cannot believe it got miss-place.

Good News... Probably not $250...

Oh yeh, it will be 250.00. I never registered it, so the title was not in my name, that is the problem. Checked the Titan since that was what we took to buy it...

Jay, any insights you can share?

Ray, seems I missed this post. As far as testing the TPS, it requires a data link connector, which I don't have, but setting the TPS is pretty easy now that I re-read the procedure. I was doing it incorrectly before.

1. Unplug the connector to the TPS, and break the two 8mm bolts loose holding the TPS in position, far enough that the TPS can be rotated.

2. Rotate the TPS as far clockwise as the slots will allow it to turn. (Clockwise = imagine sitting in the truck, looking at the back of the TPS, not from the front)

3. Connect a voltmeter to pins one and two. (Black lead to Pin 1, Red lead to Pin 2. Pin 1 is closest to you while facing the passenger fender). Use the "continuity" setting on the volt meter, if you have that setting. Mine beeps when there is continuity, stops beeping when continuity is broken.

4. Turn the TPS counter-clockwise until continuity is JUST broken. No more, no less.

5. Lock down the two 8mm bolts in this position. Reconnect TPS connector.

I had mine set up wrong before, but now that I've corrected it, it got rid of a strange transmission issue I was having, that I thought was unrelated. Runs better than ever now, except I have a MAF that's on its way out. Hope this helps.

Got the brackets done today, i need to get some hardware for the compressor but otherwise it'll just need some fittings and plumbing. here's pics including yesterday's progress.

Yes the pics will adjust size, rotation and brightness. Photobucket is slow.

That shifter does look damn clean! The compressor location is not quite what I was thinking, but it might work alright. I was thinking in a box behind the seat along with the second battery for the winch, but where it is at is more accessible. Access is only needed for one reason, running it for a long time it needs to be uncovered because of heat production.(hook ups should be at the bumpers) The downfall is it will be loud. The tank should be mounted under the body though so it is out of the way....

There wasn't much room under the body, that was my first thought. I could look again maybe i could modify something, the main thing here is to get you going in time. Plumbing airlines is easy, so moving the tank or changing to a different shape tank down the road would be doable by anyone really.

The tank's isolators turned into chalk, it's hard mounted now this can also be changed down the road if you want. I'll keep an eye out for some kind of enclosure for the compressor.

Compressor is all mounted up, it could use a curved/flat rubber isolator like the ones that you use to mount accumulators but for now i've got a bit of rubber hose to isolate it and keep the vibrations down. Welded on the front D rings today, modified the winch mount to fit Lloyds fairlead properly.

On to the bad news, with the crossmember flip to suit the Rubicon transfer case the transmission skidplate from my truck will not fit (too short) and the T-case skid will need to be reworked (Too long and wrong shape now).
