I was wondering, Picasa was a mess!
Some pieces are shiny, and some have carbon....But I have heard about the Cat issue now as well. If that is not what happened, then.....

Talked with PA_JERO today, we're weighing your (our) options. We are still planning on making a sierra trip so we've got to scramble together Kevin's new SR. We've got some good ideas, one that will definitely get you ready in time BUT you will need to do a fair amount of leg work. Either way it looks like we'll be doing a (standard) weekend trip to NM at some point, he's got some things to stew on and we'll keep you updated.

Thanks, keep me posted. I suppose worse case if I am working that weekend I am off early on Saturday typically, or Esther might be able to sub. I will keep working on things for the trip. My other BIG problem is the two missing skid plates as I cannot address those with the truck non-runnable. Beyond skids, engine and a little test run there is nothing holding us back. The dates could even move up to Labor day weekend now, or back a little to make things work if need be, and if everyone else could do it.
As far as leg work, just let me know what to do. Plenum is getting cleaned as we speak.

Looks like 8/3 or 8/10 weekends make the most sense now...I think 8/17 is too close anyways......

Well, I just found out about some things that aren't helping this situation, as far as myself being able to make it out there before the sierra trip. There is only 6 weekends till the sierras and only 5 wrenchable ones with the 6th one being the weekend to leave for the trip. I am tied up for 4 of those and I still have preparation to do myself. I'm just not seeing a way I can make it out before the trip, this may have to wait till after. I'm not sure if there is any of these other guys that can make it out without me. Perhaps somebody not planning on going on the trip.

We knew it was a tight timeline. Honestly, when the engine blew for the Silverton trip I expected we would be out for the summer unfortunately, and down for some time. If it does not look like we can put this together we may start planning some other vacation, not sure what. Need to also get all the parts packed up in the back and drag the Montero somewhere out of the way.....
If anyone needs any specific beta on the trails, please let me know.

One other mention, I know everyone works different and odd hours, there is no reason we could not do something during a week if that worked....I just have to schedule around it.

Can we make a go/ no go decision by this weekend? Then we can plan some sort of alternative.
