This really sucks Lloyd!

I hope you guys are able to work out something so you can still make it.

I would not worry about tranny skid plate too much, I never had one on my truck and never worry about it much even on hard core trails.

You should be able to put everything back together in a day once your have your heads rebuilt and all parts ready to go.

Good luck!

Ok, another wiring item has arrived. Some Chinese Back up LEDS that took like 2 Months to get here. Forgot all about them, but they look solid as hell. How is Sierra's planning going?

The sierra planning is fairly easy for the most part. It's the overwhelming to do list for the truck that's kicking me in the . Hot as hell here, humidity sucks on most days, and nothing ever goes right . Other than that though, its cool I guess. This time around my goal was not to wait to the very last second to worry about issues. Its probably gonna come down to the night before I leave...of course. And I won't sleep at all. I'll tighten up the last bolt at 3 or 4 AM and say "well, time to pack the truck and get the heck outta here". Hopefully that isn't the case but I don't ever plan on anything going for the complete good when it comes to the sierra's.

Hope prep is going well, sorry to hear about Ray. I know you guys are focused on the Sierras, but as soon as you think of a September work weekend in ABQ please let me know, I am really busy and scheduling in September now.

Lloyd, We haven't forgotten about this. I will talk with adam and who ever else and make up a game plan. I also need to get a list of parts you will need to start rounding up. And I will determine the cylinder head situation this next week. We will come up with a date to. Sounds like work is busy for you, which is a good thing. Hope everything else is going well for you.

Things are going pretty well, I missed 2 weeks of work due to being in jury trial, but we won our collection case and that will help our financial situation down the road shortly.

Main thing is to set a target weekend, then let me know what I need to pay for or round up. Sept 21st weekend is what I am up to, but that may end up caving. Sept 28th might be better....
