Kevin seems to have also blown a head gasket on the way back from the Sierras, dealer did that motor and it was good for 5 years. wonder if they'll warranty that.
Don't worry Lloyd, we're brainstorming ideas.

That is a drag, I hope they warranty it, but they always look for excuses when there is over heating. Did it over heat a ton in the Sierras? Maybe a silly question...
Main thing is to set a date for our little repair weekend, then we can plan everything else around that....

Never over heated on the Sierras, it wasn't until we got on the paved road away from the Dusy that it started doing things. Wasn't a problem even then until around Blythe.

If it did not over heat in the Sierras....Even pushing it through Blythe in the summer would be less demanding. I would guess something really failed.

It's consuming a fair amount of coolant but he doesn't seem to have coolant in his oil or oil in his coolant.
