If we did not do it last time we probably should. If they were new last time, I would say no...

We didnt replace any of the timing components or belt, we also never replaced the water pump which is recommended to do with the belt and tensioner. Timing kit and pump can be ordered through rockauto. I think i ordered the beck/arnley timing kit and a aisan water pump.

PA_JERO, what are the chances that the old tensioner failed on Lloyd like what happened to Mark in Payson that one time?

"NEVER" reuse a Mitzu 'rubber bladder tensioner' if it has any time on it ... NEVER.... Read the FSM and you will see a very detaled way to deal and reuse one .. (hope I do not come across as a jurk ..just trying to help... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />...)

Actually, not likely. The shop that did the timing belt is really good, and they check the timing and it was fine.

Yep, i think were good to go on our end. I think the last order of business is to get the heads to the machine shop. Which i am finally ready to drop off. Had to sort through the heads and make sure there gonna have plenty of valves to sort through seeing how all the valves on your old motor were bent or broken. I will have the heads in monday or tuesday and they should only take a few days so stand by. I will call you lloyd when there done and you just have to call them and pay over the phone.
