I know it's not drop-in but there should be a boatload of Chrysler engines that match that tranny... all because of way back when they started putting both Chrysler and DSM v6s in the same Caravans on the same transmission. I think even Pentastars share the bolt pattern and zero miles pulls (from people doing big block conversions on Wranglers and Rams) are available relatively cheap, like under 2k with everything (manifolds, belt accessories, the whole pull) .

Yeah that's money I know Just mentioning a possibility. Even EGE 3.5's from old 90s Intrepids and stuff are pretty decent SOHC non-interference reliable engines that should bolt up without too big a battle.

Would be nice to make it. Just have to figure out the elusive reliable motor. One of our financial problems is out of the way, still a ways to go, but getting better.

That might be enough HP. I am sure the AZ crew is up for it if I could afford it

Ok will do. So this engine is going to be shipped to the warehouse un-occupied from the old construction business that is killing us each month, might as well use it for something. Saves the 75.00 residential shipping penalty. We can do the swap inside, maybe get some propane heaters to take the edge off. Should be better then the carport.
