$4000 how long ago? Did they provide their service records? Regardless, that's all water under the bridge at this point.

I agree with you and the rest of the guys. Selling it at this point would be fruitless because you'd be selling either a broken rig or one that should be very reliable since the key things to fix are already being worked on.

At this point, you can go over the front end of the engine and replace all relevant parts. I'd even hazard to suggest changing the pulleys and tensioners if they aren't quality parts since you're already in there.

Also, while it's drained, you may as well have them check the radiator for deposits and have it rodded if necessary (not replaced).
