1st it helps to be retired and have a second vehicle.
I no longer have AC so I mounted it above the fan to heater duct.
I relocated the main relay up there, too. I lost one of those to extreme green internal corrosion.
On the wireing I lengthen 1 wire and , for neatness, shorten 5 fires.
You can pickup a second wireing harness to move it somewhere further away. Important to use the right colorcoded wires, you don't want to make a mistake here.
