What kind of mileage should I expect from a 96 SR on 33x10.5s? I just checked the mileage from my first tank with them on and I only got 12.5 mpg and that seems pretty low to me. I have no check engine lights and I accounted for the odometer difference due to the larger tires. It also only took approx. 18.5 gallons to fill up from the gas light. Is that about right?

What kind of driving conditions and are you a lead foot?? In my case with 35" tires, I can get 15mpg on highway trips where I keep it under 75mph. In the city, mileage drops like a rock since you rarely get more than 10mpg when accelerating up to speed no matter how hard you try.

Also bear in mind the difference in the stock tire and the 33's for your mileage. You need to multiply that to get the correct mileage. In my case, 35's are ~15% greater in size so I add 15% to my mileage and my speedometer speed.

HTH.

I think you have to add 13% TO YOUR TOTAL MILES PER TANK. That is a pretty good size tire- What brand and type?

I get about 15 in my 95 SR, mixed driving on 33's. Sready 65 mph, maybe 16 or 17, depends on the wind.

I'm getting a consistent 15-16 mpg after adjusting for the 35" tires I have.

I pretty much always get 15 in town and 16-17 highway depending on wind or hills. I have 35x13.5 M/T and 4.90 gears and my speedo is dead on.

I am getting 11mpg right now in my Gen1 LWB on 31s... I have to do some sniffing around to find the issue.
