Getting the Wheeling Fever
I average a very consistent 16mpg on my '92 SR with 31 BFG AT's. I am about to install some 32" Mud terrains, so it'll be interesting to see what kind of a hit I take.

90 Montero w/ 235/75r15 is was getting 16 mpg when not towing. With the 31x10.50x15's now, I'm getting about 14 mpg. This is with a "clean" <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> cat on it.

I am probably going to "clean" my cat this weekend. as of right now I can hear it rattling pretty badly at highway speeds. That and I have to keep the pedal down to keep it over 65mph...

My white Raider used to have a clogged cat. It would get really, really slow going up hills. Every once in a while it would "correct" itself with a "bang" and a cloud of smoke would signal the exiting of whatever was comprising the clog. Not good.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm taking a trip from NJ down to FL and out to AZ and CA. now. Im in Austin,TX now and have gotten a low of 15.5 and a high of 19 averaging around 17.8. That is with 32's roof rack and bike rack on the back. Considering all that i'm pretty happy with it. Glad i didn't sell it.

Need a Spot
Update: I recently flushed my trans and replaced the fluid with SP III and now my mileage is right where it should be. I'm now getting between 15 and 17 and the truck drives smoother. BTW, SP III fluid is used by Hyundai and Kia too. The nearest Mitsubishi dealer to me was like 150 miles away but we had a Kia dealer in town so I just got it there.
