I have seen his monetro inperson. it is a very clean sharp look montero.

I am at 121k miles now and will be doing all the maintenance you did to yours and then some. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" /> But.. It's a shame I like my Gen 2.5 too much.. it's the same color scheme as yours but with Grey leather.

My Montero is from MN so there is cosmetic rust underneath, and I took out the 3rd row and they have been covered in the garage since then. To be honest I would say my truck isn't worth $4000 but it might be worth more on the coast. So how much more with the ARB?

So how much more with the ARB? Haven't got around to buying it yet, but I can hook you up with a guy that will sell you one for $800 cash. You'd have to pick it up in Raliegh, NC though.

I was about to play a cruel April fools joke, but I couldn't haha. My mom has a gen III, and tho they are nice, I feel the earlier models are more capable offroad. But could be the "look" your after too. Good luck with your search.

I feel the earlier models are more capable offroad. But could be the "look" your after too. Me too and for some reason I just wouldn't feel as bad denting or scratching a Gen 2. It's easier to make bumpers or sliders since there's a frame to work off of. Its already got one locker in it and I like the squarer body style. Oh, and I have a bouncy seat for a Gen2!

I do not really feel bad about denting AND scratching mine.

Kinda funny; but I started out with a Gen 1, moved up to a Gen 2, then a Gen 3, (which was stolen), and went to a Gen 2.5. I guess I know exactly where you're coming from... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
