Will the gen 2 transfer case bolt up to a gen 1 4cyl w/ an automatic? how much more wiring is there?

I want to use Marks4wd 3.15 gears in the gen 2 tcase. Also, i've tried looking and searching, where do you get the 5.29 diff gears?

5.29's are in the for sale section right now, if you don't buy those you will have a tough time finding more later at least at that price.
you can use a super select transfer case from a gen 2 with a 12v 3.0 but you will need custom driveshafts. and that t-case still takes Marks 2.85 gear set. In order to run the big t-case and 3.15's you'll need the gen 2 tailhousing to match the transfer case. you'd be better off swapping in a rubicon rock trac t-case at that point as they bolt up and are 4:1. You'd still need custom driveshafts and speedo like you will with the gen 2 cases. What are your plans for the truck? how are you going to use it?

will those only fit V6 diffs? does the rubicon rock trac tcase bolt to the automatic transmission? does it need adapters? i was gonna make HD shafts anyway. its a stripped down shell w/ 2 seats and stock driveline, its a offroad rockcrawler, never on the road. 35" krawler T/A's on MRW beadlocks.

yes the 5.29?s are a v6 axle thing, i think they were an option for the 4 cyl axles but are near impossible to get.
The rock trac will bolt up top the 12v 3.0 and 4cyl transmissions, but you need to get the short input shaft model (Rock trac NV241 short shaft) otherwise you?ll need a clocking ring or a good band saw to shorten the shaft.
