There are plenty of great trails on the area from around Leadville to Villa Grove south of Poncha pass to keep us busy for 4 days.
In the meantime, I think it would be fun to get some people together for a smaller one or two night camping/trails trip in a couple of weeks. Whatcha think?

Hello Everyone!
Jeff: Thanks for setting the date and making the reservations for the campground. Me being the wimp I am, I'll be lodged up at the Cottonwood Hotsprings
I can't wait! I should have the new rocksliders I won at the AzRocks event installed by then. Now, I'm debating getting a new gastank as we now only have a cruising range of about 200miles. The 285's will be on the rig by then as well, if i nag my husband enough
I'm up for Iron Chest and Chinaman's.

For those, like JadeRunner, who weren't there last summer, Heatstroke Mike had some banjo music he'd play over the CB at various times throughout the weekend. It became an inside joke.

My "wheel'n special" as I call it, is a custom blend of hillbilly/redneck/good ole boyism at it's finest. It's compiled with songs off the Deliverence and Oh Brother Where Art Thou soundtracks, Johnny Cash, Grandpa Jones and the brown Jug Band(Hee Haw), Flatt n Scruggs(sp), and a couple others. Sure I'll burn you a copy. I've got another in the planning stages, but nothing has been done yet. Mike, I'm only home on weekends, so we'll have to work something out for getting you a copy. Email is: heatstroketimes2@hotmail.com
