Hey gang, been busy with getting ready for my wedding, and among the tasks is to get rid of my old VW jetta. Not having much luck with getting my asking price, so I thought trade.
long and short, I have a guy who wants to trade me for a 1980 Honda CB750F SuperSport. It is in pretty good shape, from what little I know. I find lots of good reports on google, but was wondering if anybody has any first hand experience?? My original asking price on the car was $1250, and I find ads online for these bikes for anywhere from 1000-1800$, so I'm comfortable with the trade in principle.

This would be my first bike, at age 41! The bride-to-be is actually the one to point me in this direction. She grew up around bikes, so she's all for it!
A buddy at work is pretty savvy with bikes, but mostly dirt. He's really mechanical, so I will trust his opinion of it's mechanical condition, but he doesn't know "this" bike.
any opinions, or insider tips?
