I already have a serious lift on the rear. its really much more than 4 inches. on this forum people use jeep tj springs- at most - and we are talking about stock springs - and get 4 inches of lift. when i bought my rear springs i bought lift springs for the tj (2 inches)and not standard ones. as you can see from the picture- as the sporty looks right now- with a 1 inch spacer AND 2 inch lovells lift coils on the front - my rear end is still much higher than the front - about 3 inches higher!!!! (my friends call the sporty "the slide" cause the rear is so much higher than the front)

of course i can fit an extra 2 inch spacer up front - and i have done this in the past - but it was hell on the cv boots. the driveshafts held quite well but the rubber boots kept tearing on the bottom of the forks- the reason it that a 3 inch spacer makes the whole shock and spring and fork assembly much lower- thus rubbing on the cv boot.

when i will fit the 3 inch lift coils AND the 2 inch forks i will take the spacer out- thus taking the shock uper mounting point to its original position- making sure i will have a serious lift without the rubbing my cv boots.

if the front will be higher than the rear (dont think so) than i will fit the forks with my current lovells 2 inch coils (also- they seem to have sagged a bit- so its probably more like 1.5 inch lift coils right now)
